Hello, Readers! Today I wanted to step away from blogging about writing and show you my little buddy, Tyson 😊
This is the first dog that I’ve had since I was 13 and he is such a good boy!

Anyway, growing up my parents were awful. For some reason that family (which I am no longer a part of) had a habit of getting puppies… then throwing them away (like in the woods) when they grew!!! 😠
It took one heartbreak from them doing this to my dog for 13-year-old me to become determined. Once they got another puppy, I went down to the convenience store and gave it to a nice older woman who wanted to pet him. She was delighted and cradled the puppy happily. I got in trouble, but I won ~ no more puppies allowed, which was good.
Tyson is now in his forever home ❤️
I never had another dog, until my 30’s, when I finally moved to a house with a nice backyard and a park nearby 😊 Although, Tyson doesn’t enjoy the outside much.
He’s an indoors baby with a HUGE beanbag chair! LoL
Tyson is a miniature pinscher mixed with mutt. We found him at the Humane Society, weighing 8 pounds and with kennel cough.
Now he’s all better and a bit heavier because he’s quite the food connoisseur.
During Mardi Gras, he shook paws for beads 😝
But he was not allowed to have King Cake 😂

Tyson looks lovely! I saw (must have been here or on IG) that you’ve had cats in the past, too?
I like both cats and dogs, but I don’t like big dogs that come and slobber and and run all over me when I’m sat in the park trying to read my book 😁

Thanks! Yes, I’ve had cats and I used to volunteer at the cat section of a shelter. So getting a dog has been an experience! It’s quite different 🙂

Tyson is a cute dog that looks pretty intelligent. I particularly love his sleeping pose on the bag. Extend my regards to him.
