3 End of Year Journaling Prompts and Happy Holidays! 🎉

Hello, Writers! 🎄 A new year and a new decade is fast approaching! Today, I have some journaling prompts for the coming year… but don’t worry ~ there will be no resolution prompts! 😆

End of Year, Goodbye 2019 Journal Prompts

1. Write about the highlight of your 2019

Think back at everything that’s happened in 2019 ~ What was your most favorite moment? What left you sighing deeply, crying from happiness, or elated? Journal in detail about looking back on this experience.

2. What was your biggest lesson in 2019?

What was a life-changing, character-building lesson that you learned in 2019? It doesn’t have to be positive or negative, just something that truly changed your mind. It can be a hard lesson or an “aha!” moment.

3. What disappointment are you unwilling to relive in 2020?

This prompt is more for something that is in your control, such as “I’m disappointed that I didn’t meet my writing goal” or “I’m disappointed that I didn’t travel at all.”

Find what it is you didn’t like about 2019, and write it down. Now, write down how you’re going to make sure that it doesn’t happen again in 2020. Make a plan of action. For instance, you could set a writing schedule, or plan a “stay-cation.”

Also: Doodles!

Doodles always look great in a journal ❤️

Here are some winter doodles that are easy to do.

Lower your volume, as the video is a bit loud.

I will be away for the rest of the year,
celebrating the holidays 🙂 🎄

Have a wonderful Christmas
and a Happy New Year!
See you in 2020!

    1. Thanks so much, Cindy 🙂 I had my last photo for a few years, so it was time for an update. I did it through an art filter app on my phone. They have several and they are so much fun 🤗 Glad to know it came out well!

Have yourself a wonderful Christmas too, and a happy New Year! ❤️
